Television.
I’ve always loved television. I love its power to change, to speak to people from all walks of life, and to share the message of love to everyone. For me, that was embodied in The Lost World, classic sitcoms, and endless teen dramas.
In 2016, I joined the Supernatural writer’s room as an assistant. I was staffed in 2019 for its final season. In that time, I wrote two episodes.
Comics.
I remember watching Spider-Man in theaters with my dad, who grew up loving comics. He took me to the comic book store and opened up a whole new world of possible ways to express myself.
Sometimes life feels unfair. But in comics, Batman will always save the day.
Animation.
Animation has been crucial to my life. I’ll never forget seeing The Lion King in theaters, or the opening credits of The Justice League.
Being able to write in a medium that inspires other young dreamers is a dream come true.
Podcasts.
I first came to writing scripts because I wanted to write audio drama. I listened to a very crucial audio drama growing up called Adventures in Odyssey that taught me the power in audio.
Since then, I’ve been privileged to work in other formats, but I’ve never forgotten my roots.
